london // the royal treatment

it was another hectic 6am wake up call where dana and i were scrambling to get out the door on time in order to keep our schedule for the day. but thankfully we made it to the palace before the crowds and the morning commuters. so i would basically say we had a private audience with queen lizzie herself.

although dana was not quite impressed with buckingham palace's size, this place remains one of my favorite spots in london. its elegance and timeless architecture are what keep me in awe at every glance. the first time i truly experienced the palace was back when i was in college and it was madness. me and 10,000 other people were all trying to take photos in front of the golden gates. but i knew better this time!

with our big morning at the palace, my outfit needed to be regal of course! with a very simple ensemble, i added the most ahhmazing cape to complete the look. and can we talk about those buttons!? this cape kept me warm all morning and it gave me a true royal treatment!
