after dana and i checked out of our hotel, we met up with andrea and made the switch over to the cutest airbnb just a few minutes from the downtown area. and holy crap was it the cutest! while it’s inside was decent, the reason we ended up choosing this location was because it was on a farm! like a real farm!! haha okay this city girl is going to calm down now! while i was behind the camera for a lot of the farm shots for dana and andrea, they were truly some of my favorites! loved this one i took for andrea and this one for dana!Read More
happy wednesday everyone!
with my photography program in full swing and my shooting schedule being so busy, i have basically been living in jeans for the past 3 months with my hair almost always in a bun. although i will say i was in the darkroom last week in this tulle skirt and i had no complaints…but i made sure to wear the largest apron i could find haha it was truly a sight to see! aside from that exception though, comfort has been key for me these days. you will always find me now in comfy slides and oversized shirts!
but don’t worry too much though! with the holidays fast approaching, the cocktail dresses and midi skirts will be back before you know it!
coat: golden goose deluxe brand
top: kate spade (also love the navy)
rings: gorjana (#1 and #2), alex and ani
necklaces: cariter, shashi
happy monday everyone! i’m so excited to finally be sharing all of the details of amanda’s and my quick trip to philadelphia! it had been about 13 years years since i last visited this once capital of the united states and i was so excited to be heading back as an adult! amanda and i made the easy two hour drive down to philly the thursday evening before labor day weekend and we were honored to partner with the ritz carlton while in town.Read More
over the past few months, i've done quite a bit of detective work...so i figured i should probably dress accordingly for my new self-appointed role in society. after the large nordstrom package that was stolen from my apartment lobby back in december, i was in contact with quite a few detectives in the 19th precinct here in nyc. and i have to say...they could have done better dressing the part. so i'm helping them out! haha! once i found this trench, everything else fell into place. all i'm missing is my magnifying glass and i'll be sure to catch the thief who stole my package (and the two others from a few weeks ago)!Read More
my final post from paris is here and i am a little sad about it! for our final full day in paris, i knew we needed to stop at the most iconic café in paris: café de flore. located in my old neighborhood on the boulevard saint-germain, this quaint little café has hosted some of the world's finest patrons. does ernest hemingway ring a bell? although andrea nor i are the next hemingway, we felt honored to grace this historic parisian spot! and the hot chocolate is one of my favorites in the city! paris really knows how to do hot chocolate!Read More
i can say now that i truly love my hair...but i haven't always felt this way about it. when i was younger, i was constantly teased for being a redhead and many people would unwelcomely touch my hair. i considered my hair a burden and hated sticking out in the crowd. but my hair shaped who i am today - fun fact: i wrote my college essay about being a redhead - and i'm so thankful for it.Read More
say hello to trench coat weather! although i have officially broken out my lighter-weighted jackets, they still need some layering for those chilly spring morning and evenings. this striped turtleneck is the perfect pairing for almost all of my spring coats and i feel like i'm wearing a sweatshirt all day! ...without looking like i'm wearing one...because apparently sweatshirts aren't "office appropriate"Read More
