the colors of fall
it’s no surprise that i looooove fall. i mean it’s my color palette to a t! so when carter and i had the opportunity to take a few days to head upstate when the trees were turning, we took it! we made the drive after our client shoots for the day and headed for hudson, new york. we decided to rent the cutest cabin via airbnb about an hour away to fully immerse ourselves into nature.
unfortunately the weather for the few days we were there, wasn’t exactly ideal. it rained 3 out of the four days! we made the best of it ordering pizza, matching movies, and making all the mac and cheese a person can eat! when the rain looked like it was lightening up, we explored as much as we could. the downtown area of hudson was absolutely perfect for a day of shopping! it had the cutest shops and restaurants that all have me dying to go back!
on our last day, the sun finally came out to play. we woke up early in the morning to get some more pictures in before heading back to the city. even with the rain, it ended up being the perfect little getaway just an arm’s reach outside of the city!
