london // the search for hugh grant

when planning our time in london, i knew the one thing we had to do was roam the streets of notting hill. pastel colored townhouses!? sign me up! these charming streets were filled with the cutest antique shops and cafés and it took all my will power not to buy all of the flowers in the cutest flower shops!

although i obviously brought sandals to explore, i couldn't help but pair this amazing manic trout necklace with the dark purple jimmy choos!

walking around for what seemed like hours, in awe of the neighborhood, we decided to stop at the cutest restaurant for lunch. it was appropriately named the wildflower as everything seemed to have a flower on the plate! i got the steak sandwich and my mom decided to go with the scallops and now i just need them to open a location in nyc!

with the afternoon coming to a close (and about to get ready to go to sketch gallery for dinner!), we only had one thing left to do...and that was to stalk hugh grant. i only recently saw the movie notting hill and we had to walk over to the little blue door and the bookshop that were featured! unfortunately the original bookstore is no longer there but a replica one has popped up in the area called the notting hill bookstore, that was just like the real thing!

everywhere i looked, there was something that caught my eye and could have uploaded 100 pictures but i had to restrain myself. truly one of the cutest neighborhoods and i aspire to buy a townhouse there one day!
