the hamptons // talk the montauk

wait, i'm sorry...it's august already!? who let that happen?? but i honestly don't mind because that just means we are that much closer to fall! but with summer coming to an end, so is the peak season in the hamptons. i have had so much fun the past few weekends out east with my girls dana and mollie and i figured i would share some of my favorite spots! although we stay in east hampton, it is always so much fun when we head over to montauk for the day - also known as the end of the world because it is on the eastern most point of long island.

where to brunch:
surf lodge is a must! you may have caught it on my instagram a few times...sorry not sorry. not only is it adorable on the outside, the food is fabulous (and the perfect hangover cure) and it even turns in to the coolest bar at night!

where to cocktail/lounge:
gurney's is the place to be. the yellow and white decor is too perfect for words and the drinks are just what you need to keep you cool all day long. get a cabana or sit at the bar: the drinks still taste perfect no matter where you sit!

where to lunch:
lobster roll restaurant for the best lobster you will ever have. seriously. we have made it a tradition to go there every time we are out in the hamptons and it has yet to disappoint. i do recommend getting a seat outside because the sea breeze is so refreshing! ...and the tables and lighting are much cuter for an instagram.

where to procrastinate:
while on our drive out to montauk, we passed the cutest little yellow and white farm stand and we made sure to leave enough time to stop there on the way back into town. we ended up spending (what seemed like) an hour there just chatting with the workers from bhumi farms and eating all of the strawberries. we found out they do the cutest farm to table dinners for groups so that is definitely on our to-do list this year! but maybe in october or whenever my face isn't melting off the moment i step outside.

where to dessert:
what day is ever really complete without a stop for ice cream!? on our way back into town, we stopped at scoop du jour for a classic ice cream cone to reward ourselves for our hard day's work...ish. and then it was back to the house to change for a night on the town!

where to party:
sloppy tuna. appropriately named. don't ask questions.
