the ten restaurants i can't wait to visit post-quarantine

One of the best parts of living in NYC is having a never ending list of restaurants and bars to try and fall in love with. This time indoors has made me miss those spots more than ever and I couldn't resist putting together a list of the ten places that will be first to visit when quarantine is lifted...

1. Rosecran's: Part flower shop, part coffee shop, this West Village spot is an Instagram dream. i was so lucky to be able to spend a morning here with my friend ashley before the lockdown was in order and now i’m just counting the days until i can go back! It's the ideal spot to catch up with girlfriends or read a book while you sip on a latte next to the fresh bouquets.
2. Lil Frankie's: A NYC Italian staple, there is nothing more delicious than a bowl of limone pasta and a pizza from this East Village restaurant. A favorite for birthdays, group dinners or late nights, come here hungry! In the meantime, you can learn how to make that famous lemon pasta from the owner Frank Prisinzano's Instagram Stories, where he breaks down his secrets! i even gave the recipe a go myself and while i, if i do say so myself, did a pretty good job, nothing compares to the original!
3Soho Diner: This chic 24 hour diner inside the Soho Grand Hotel has become a favorite to stop in while I have (or rather ‘had’) a few minutes in between shoots and I can't wait to get back to those busy NYC days! Also doesn't hurt they have an amazing menu of just about anything you can think of.
4. Short StoriesThis pink East Village spot is one of my favorites for brunch (forever obsessed with their french toast!). so anxiously awaiting a Saturday brunch with my girlfriends here.
5. Island OysterAn ideal NYC summer day? Taking the ferry over to Governor's Island and sipping on cocktails and having oysters and fries from this summer spot! A quick ferry ride to the island brings you to this waterfront oyster bar and restaurant, the perfect place for a Sunday Funday with friends.
6. Chef's Club CounterLocated right in the heart of Soho, this restaurant is constantly changing with some of the world's best restaurants and chefs rotating in and out. Such a fun way to try new restaurants and dishes from around the world!
7. DanteOne of my favorite cafés/bars in the city, their Macdougal Street location is a staple for Aperol Spritzes and dining outside but I can't wait to visit their new location a few blocks away in the West Village as well!
8. Levain BakeryNew York's most famous cookie, there is nothing more satisfying than a Levain chocolate chip cookie. not too long ago they opened a location near my apartment on the upper east side and i can’t wait to get my hands on those half-baked pieces of heaven!
9. VeronikaPre-quarantine this Eastern European restaurant was the must-have reservation so upon my return to nyc, i can hopefully get one for my first fancy night out! Anyone else want to join me for some caviar and champagne?!
10. il FloristaPastel painted walls and the prettiest brunch dishes, this newer Nomad spot will be the perfect place for brunch followed by walking through the flower markets one weekend. i can just picture the smell of bacon, flowers and freedom now.
