country road

my second nashville post is here and it's all about that historic and classic vibes this city has to offer! ashley and i woke up crazy early to beat the crowds to go to the iconic broadway in the heart of nashville. similar to the broadway in nyc, this street gets the most action from tourists who just want to have a good time. the street is packed with bars and restaurants and it's safe to say it has never seen a quiet night.

just off the main strip, is the historic ryman auditorium. the ryman was home to the grand ole opry from 1943-1974 and held countless icons on the stage. so we had to make a pitstop there after our lunch at merchants. i would even consider myself a country superstar from just being in the same space! yeah okay maybe not but ashley and i did partake in a cheesy tourist photo on the stage for the bargain price of $15...and it was worth every penny!

it was so much fun doing the stereotypical nashville tourist thing during this trip...the only activity we passed on was the pedal tavern haha!
