mad for plaid
the countdown to christmas continues! and this time, with a little more casual outfit. i love plaid because it is synonymous with christmas. when you don't know what to wear, just throw on a plaid piece and you're automatically festive! this outfit was the second half of my holiday collaboration with dana and we had the best time shooting together! it is very strange now trying to pose with someone else but we just goofed off and tried to make it work...emphasis on the goofing off.
if you can't tell, i'm so excited for christmas and to have my parents in the city with my brother and myself. little plans have been made so far sooooo i hope it all comes together! one tradition that my family takes with us wherever we go are these silver spoons. my mom works tirelessly trying to find the most creative spoons that are representative of the year we had; whether it was a big trip we took, the latest city we moved to, or just a fun design, they are all meaningful to us in some way. to make the tradition just a little more fun, my mom places the spoons at the dinner table before we sit down and we have to guess whose spoon is whose! and then the most important part is eating our brownie and peppermint ice cream dessert with them :)
