is it too late to say happy new year? haha!
after taking nearly one month off (with the exception of yesterday’s post), i’m finally back and ready for action! the end of 2018 was quite the whirlwind by closing out the year with a trip to africa and 2019 has already been jam packed with so many exciting things! i promise i will be posting all about my trip to africa soon but i seriously needed to post this sequin cape because the christmas trees behind me already date these photos…oopsies!
but this year, my goal is to be more on top of not only posting on the blog, but writing here as well. time and time again i find myself getting lost on the pages of grace’s blog and dana’s blog because they are constantly writing and because they are so darn good at it! while writing has never truly been my greatest strength, i know it’s something i need to force myself to work on. my intentions of writing more on the blog have always been in the back of my head but my procrastination of waiting until midnight before to start writing a post always results in me just writing a quick paragraph and then pressing publish.
so hopefully now that i have had a one-month break, i will be creatively rejuvenated and the writing and posts will just come to me! i’ve even started a notepad about topics i want to talk about here on prêt-à-provost! but if any of you all had topics or ideas for posts that you wanted me to cover, i wouldn’t hate that either haha!
